Why apply?

Arts Award is a nationally recognised qualification offering young people the opportunity to embrace new art forms with the support of cultural organisations. As a certified Arts Award centre the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon can offer support to undertake Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards (Gold has 16 points on the UCAS tariff). Young people are invited to use the museum collections including fine art, North Devon pottery and arts and crafts furniture to inspire study and attain their award.
