The museum’s collection contains over 80,000 objects and the museum actively encourages academic research from people working in the UK.
Possible research opportunities within the collections include the archaeology and design of North Devon Pottery, the geology and minerals of North Devon and the furniture and archives of Shapland and Petter.
Numerous other themes can be explored, the museum welcomes all enquiries to access and research the collections and develop partnerships.
