The Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon tells the stories of the people and landscapes of North Devon.  Our collections include everything from our most ancient rocks to contemporary artworks.

Admission to the museum is free.

Getting Here

The Museum is situated at the end of the historic Long Bridge in Barnstaple. The sole building on the square the museum is well situated for easy access by car, bicycle and public transport.

Hire the Learning Room

The learning room is situated on the first floor of the Museum with wonderful views of the River Taw. Available for private functions, meetings and events.
