Call out to community groups to exhibit in our Community Gallery

Jun 5, 2026   -   Jul 12, 2026

It’s that time once again, when we’re looking for community groups or organisations with interesting stories to tell who’d like to be part of the programme of exhibitions taking place in our Community Gallery in 2027-2028.

Over the past year we’ve worked and hosted exhibitions with the Kings Nympton Historical Society, the North Devon Archaeological Society, North Devon Arts, Earth Action North Devon, Beyond Barriers Art Collective, the National Trust, and the North Devon Atheaneum. Currently on display in the gallery is an exhibition co-curated with The Resurgence Trust, marking the 60th anniversary of Resurgence.

If you’re a local group or organisation with a project, local story, celebration, or anniversary to mark, and which you think might be of interest to us and our diverse community, we’d love to hear from you.

If your group is selected, we will support you throughout the whole exhibition process from the planning stages through to the curation, display, and promotion.

How to apply

We invite you to submit a brief outline of your proposal either by completing the online below, or by submitting a video of no longer than 5 minutes covering the questions on the form (MP4). Videos should be e-mailed to museum@northdevon.gov.uk.
