Call Out to Community Groups to Exhibit in our New Community Gallery

Mar 1, 2025   -   Mar 31, 2025

After last year’s successful call out, we’re looking for more community groups with interesting stories to tell and who’d like to be part of the programme of exhibitions taking place in our Community Gallery in 2026.

Previous exhibitions held in the Community Gallery have included a centenary celebration of Banbury’s Department Store and an exhibition documenting an 18-month storytelling and poetry project led by Katy Lee about travelling the length of the River Taw from source to sea. Currently on display in the gallery is an exhibition marking the 25th anniversary of North Devon Homes.

If you’re a local group or organisation with a project, local story, celebration or anniversary that you think might be of interest to us and our diverse community, we’d love to hear from you.

If your group is selected, we will support you during the whole exhibition process from the planning stages through to the curation, display and promotion.

Deadline for proposals

Monday 31 March, 5pm

How to apply

We invite you to submit a brief outline of your proposal either by completing the form available to download below, or by submitting a video of no longer than 5 minutes covering the questions on the form (MP4 format).

For further information or if you’d like a copy of the application form in an alternative format, please get in touch by e-mailing museum@northdevon.gov.uk
