Wednesdays 12th April
Join, Woodlander and Wordsmith, Katy Lee for a morning of crafting with words and wood.
For inspiration we will look at the special place Ash trees held for the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings. Expect fun, crazy word combinations and to learn some obscure ‘facts’ about Ash trees!
Suitable for all families with children aged 8 and above. Younger children are welcome but they will need adult help. Children must be supervised at all times.
Katy Lee is the director of Courage Copse Creatives CIC. She owns and manages 15 acres of woodland, with her husband, in the Taw valley. Katy was the brains and driving force behind Ode to the Ash Tree Poetry Project, featured in the exhibition. She is currently working on a project about the river Taw, called Going on Taw.
