Witness the imagination of the future generation at our Earth Day Weekend celebration – and unleash your kids’ own creativity through fun activities.
Experience some of the fantastic work created by local primary schools, children and families during The Wild Escape. Inspired by the creatures in Ilfracombe, Mortehoe, Combe Martin and Lyn and Exmoor museums, 7-11 year-olds worked with artists and writers to sketch, paint, write and record their thoughts about North Devon’s wild and wonderful species.
Gather driftwood and create stick snakes or make your own placards to give a voice to local wildlife.
Create your own digital creatures and add them to a new virtual ‘Wild World’.
With artist Peter Stiles and poet/musician Tia Meraki and pupils, staff and families from Lynton, Parracombe, Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Mortehoe.
Plus more activities and stalls.
