Whether you are a seasoned metal detectorist, or you’ve made a chance find, the Devon Finds Liaison Officer may be able to help you identify your discoveries.
Join us on Saturday 24th January when the Devon Finds Liaison Officer will be identifying and recording finds, as part of the Portable Antiquities Scheme. By appointment only, booking is essential.
Finds Liaison Officers are interested in recording ALL archaeological finds older than 300 years. More recent finds are at recorded at FLO’s discretion.
The Portable Antiquities Scheme is funded by the British Museum and National Museum Wales, recording finds from all over the country for the database.
