Join us for a FREE Drop In Covid Quilt Workshop at the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon, taking place on Wednesday 13th December 2023, 10am-12 noon.
A community project is underway to create a lasting record of the pandemic era in North Devon and is destined for the Museum of North Devon in Barnstaple. Members of the community are being asked to help create a quilt using Scrub material, organised by Denise Anstey of Heartfelt Products. A second quilt will be auctioned off to raise money for North Devon Hospice
With 400 squares still to stitch, Denise Anstey, the founder and creator of this COVID Quilt project will be running weekly sessions here at the Museum helping people to create their pandemic design.
