Weekend Weaving Workshop – Meet and Greet

Starting off our first Weekend of Weaving join Museum Manager Alison Mills for a meet and greet followed by a private view of the exhibition and a talk on Ethel’s work.

Ethel Partridge was a highly skilled craftswoman who is credited with the resurgence of dying and hand-loom weaving in the UK. This three-day workshop for adults is led by renowned weavers Jenny Wilkinson and Angie Parker, natural dye practitioner Sarah Burns and Radhi Parekh of Artisans Mumbai. Attendees will draw inspiration from Ethel’s travels in India, learning hands-on processes and exploring international weaving techniques.
